For the first time, the city of Charlotte and the Charlotte-based Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition will hold a land-development forum.

The event will run from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 22 in Room 280 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg
Government Center.

The purpose of the forum will be to “foster an open dialogue among the development industry and Charlotte’s land-development division,” according to REBIC.

Topics will include bonding
requirements, electronic plans management, streamlining the plan approval process and
Charlotte’s ordinance alignment initiative.

Reservations can be made
by emailing Yvonne Case at [email protected]. Space is limited.

DPR Engineers, a Charlotte-based firm of landscape architects, planners and engineers, is sponsoring the event.
