Nick Schirato Joins Thomas & Hutton As An Environmental Designer In Charlotte

Thomas & Hutton (T&H), a privately held and employee-owned professional services firm known for its award-winning culture and 80 years of shaping communities across the Southeast, is pleased to welcome Nick Schirato to the firm’s Charlotte office as a Designer in the Environmental Department.

Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Clemson University and previously worked at a Charlotte-based engineering firm where he contributed to several water and wastewater treatment plant projects. He currently holds his Engineer in Training (EIT) certification and plans to sit for the Professional Engineer (PE) exam in 2026. Nick brings more than three years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry. 

As an Environmental Designer, Nick will assist in preparing construction plans, specifications, reports, studies, supporting documentation, and cost estimates. He will also contribute to water and sewer utility, drainage, and erosion control design, as well as permit applications in accordance with company and industry standards.
