New Harris Teeter opens in Gastonia

A grocery store is the first tenant to open its doors at the Kendrick Crossing shopping center in Gastonia.

The store, at Robinwood and Kendrick roads, celebrated it’s grand opening last week. The store is 53,000 square feet, is open 24 hours a day, and includes a Starbucks, salad bar and drive-thru pharmacy, according to a press release from developer .

Other tenants coming to the center include Hungry Howie’s Pizza, UPS Store, Great Clips and Lucky Nails, all to open in the next few weeks, according to the release.

Joey Morganthall and Robbie Branstrom with MPV Properties are leasing the remaining shop space. The architect for the project is ai Design, and Cummings is the general contractor on the project, according to the release.
