MPV Properties has broken ground on phase one of an Indian Land, South Carolina, development that will include a 14-screen Stone Theatre and 54,900-square-feet of retail space.

The development, named RedStone, is at U.S. Highway 521 and S.C. Highway 160. Phase two is expected to include 310,000 square feet of shopping and services.

“Given Indian Land’s tremendous growth, and RedStone’s prime strategic location, this project is ideally positioned to attract a number of national, regional, and local tenants to serve the growing retail needs of this market,” said Mike Bilodeau, MPV development manager, in a statement. MPV’s Keely (Simmerville) Hines is the leasing agent.
