NCFHA names Movement Mortgage its top lender

The N.C. Housing Finance Agency has named Movement Mortgage of Charlotte the Top Producing Lender of 2014. It is the second consecutive year the company achieved the honor.

Movement Mortgage originated $49 million in loans in the agency’s N.C. Home Advantage Mortgage program, and another $37.1 million in loans through its Mortgage Credit Certificate program, which assists eligible homebuyers.

Established in 2008, Movement Mortgage was named the 2012 and 2013 fastest-growing mortgage bank in the country by Inc. Magazine.

The company has more than 2,000 employees in some 330 branches across the United States.

The N.C. Housing Finance Agency has financed more than 231,000 affordable homes and apartments statewide since its creation in 1973.
