The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association has been honored for its charity work with a Community Outreach award from the National Association of Realtors.
The CRRA was recognized for outstanding regional work within its charitable arm, the Housing Opportunity Foundation. The foundation has been active for 30 years.
The CRRA was one of seven national Realtor associations to receive the inaugural award. The NAR cited the CRRA’s education initiatives on expanding opportunities and employer assistance in the housing market, as well as its raising awareness of affordable-housing issues and hosting events focused on workforce housing.
“The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association and our Housing Opportunity Foundation are committed to helping our neighbors, and we are thrilled to be recognized by NAR for the hard work Realtors are doing across the Charlotte region to affect a better quality of life,” said CRRA President Maren Brisson-Kuester.
