Together, apparently, ‘til real estate do them part

When they were together, Mia Farrow and Woody Allen lived across Central Park from each other; Farrow in that fabulous 11-room Upper West Side apartment seen in “Hannah and Her Sisters,” and Allen and his neuroses in their comfort zone of the Upper East Side.

Now come Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, who, now that they are apparently no longer together, but still a topic of idle gossip, are spending much of their summers living practically next door to each other in the Hamptons, the group of exclusive getaways along the southeastern tip of Long Island.

The former celeb couple has, apparently, and apparently quite famously, broken up.

But according to real estate gossip site curbed.com, “the Coldplay frontman is renting a nice clapboard Hamptons manse literally one door down from his ex, the lifestyle guru who, once upon a time, was an actress or something. Anyway, the house, rentable for $25K a month, is your typical Hamptons fare: ‘mature landscaping’ behind closed gates, a 50-foot saltwater pool, and a screened porch with a fireplace.” In the summer, mind you, a fireplace is apparently still something to crow about.

Coldplay is apparently a band or something, and the two are, apparently, being as mature as those gated and graying foundation plants and trees.
