Pat Rodgers, president and CEO of Rodgers Builders, has been elected chairman of the Construction Industry Roundtable, a national trade association co
mprising more than 110 chief executives from design and construction companies across the Unites States.
With her appointment, Rodgers becomes the second woman to chair the organization. Her term will last one year. She succeeds Steven Halverson, president and CEO of the Haskell Co. based in Jacksonville, Fla.
“It is truly an honor to work with my fellow CIRT members, who share common goals to meet the needs of the design and construction industry through collaboration and leading edge innovation,” said Rodgers in a press release. “Joining our voices together helps create one vision for improving our workforce, our individual organizations and our effectiveness to better serve our clients.”
Founded in 1963, Rodgers Builders has grown to become one of the largest contractors in the Southeast, placing 11th in Engineering News-Record’s Southeast’s top contractors list. The company had $387.4 million in revenue in 2012. Nationally, the industry magazine ranked Rodgers 149th among its top 400 contractors.
