CHARLOTTE – Phantom Consulting, a local firm that provides IT resources to companies for short- and long-term projects, has signed a new lease at Bank of America Plaza, at 101 S. Tryon St.

Phantom was previously in 1,100 square feet in the 40-story office tower, but the new lease is for 2,036 square feet, with plans to expand to 5,000 square feet when the company needs additional space, according to a news release from the company.

Phantom is headquartered in Charlotte and has offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Hong Kong; Mumbai, India; and Peshawar, Pakistan. The company’s projects range from mobile application development to company-wide IT operations for clients ranging from small businesses to those with more than $100 million in revenue, the release says.

“We needed the additional space because our company continues to grow, and we’re very excited to increase our presence here in Charlotte,” said Phantom CEO in the release. “We are continuing to add jobs here as well as in our offshore locations.”

Parker Melvin of CBRE brokered the deal and the lease is for a seven years, according to the release.
