Alan Simonini Homes, working with developer Ray Wetherington, is building a custom boutique townhome community featuring 26 residences in SouthPark.

Phase I of SouthPark City Homes, at the corner of Fairview and Closeburn roads, will include 15 units of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes ranging from 3,000 to 3,100 square feet.

Prices will start in the $590,000 to $725,000 range. First-phase construction should be completed near the end of the year, Wetherington said.

“We’re doing all of the site work right now,” he said, “So we’ll have all the roads and curbs and gutters and water and sewer done by the end of June for the entire project.”

A kickoff event is planned at Reid’s Fine Food SouthPark on Saturday from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.

The project is designed by the award-winning architectural firm of Bassenian Lagoni of Newport Beach, California.

Each home will incorporate a two-car private attached garage, brick pavers leading to a private entrance, energy-efficient appliances, a tankless water heater and a three-zone HVAC system with an individual digital programmable thermostat on each floor.
