The In the Lead Best Legacy Businesses section (and online product) recognizes businesses that have shown prolonged success and an ability to successfully navigate changing customer needs, technology, economic environments, and more.
To be named one of the Best Legacy Businesses, a company must have at least four employees, have been in business for at least 25 years and be based in Mecklenburg County.
Other criteria:
- Can demonstrate success through growth in revenue or employees.
- Recognized as a best workplace because of employee support programs.
- Can show a high level of employee morale.
- Is able to demonstrate strong and consistent community engagement.
Deadline for submission is March 17, 2025.
