M/I Homes Reenters the South Carolina Market and Begins Sales at Bellamore

M/I Homes has re-entered the South Carolina market for the first time since 2023 with a new master-planned community in York, South Carolina.

Sales have begun in Bellamore, which will offer 144 townhomes and 126 single-family homes from M/I Homes’ Smart Series. Pricing starts at $305,990.

M/I Homes is the exclusive builder in Bellamore. “We chose this location because it provides the charm of a small town with easy access to Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Charlotte,” says Alan Beulah, area president of M/I Homes of Charlotte.

The community will feature partially wooded homesites that provide privacy and a tranquil atmosphere. Bellamore is designed with relaxation and wellness in mind, including an amenity building with a gathering room and fitness center, a Junior Olympic-size pool, two pickleball courts, a playground, and peaceful walking trails.

M/I Homes is introducing new ranch-style single-family home plans in Bellamore, ranging from 1,823 to 2,852 square feet. Buyers can build their home entirely on one floor or include an optional second-floor bonus room and fourth bedroom. Up to 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms are available. Highlights of the open-concept home plans include a kitchen with walk-in pantry and stainless steel appliances, owner’s suite on the main floor, and covered lanai to enjoy time outside.

The 2-story townhome designs range from 1,603 to 1,666 square feet and offer 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a 1-car garage. The kitchen design incorporates granite countertops and an island with space for barstools for additional seating. The bright family room provides access to the backyard and patio.

Upstairs, the owner’s suite fits a king-sized bed with space for a cozy reading nook. A private en-suite bath and large walk-in closet are welcome features, while an optional tray ceiling adds a distinctive look. Two secondary bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry room complete the second floor.
