Henrietta’s, a new stand-alone concept from Rally co-founders Meg Charity and Barrett Worthington, will open this summer in , bringing a fresh take on a neighborhood to the up-and-coming borough of the city.

With a menu curated by chef partner Andres Kaifer, Henrietta’s is Charlotte’s neighborhood bistro, rooted in fresh, seasonal food and thoughtful hospitality for guests to enjoy the timeless ritual of coming together over a shared meal. The space is designed to feel instantly familiar but quietly remarkable, with deep red and navy tones, playful stripes, and warm lighting that flatters both food and friends. The energy leans lively, not loud.

“We want everyone who walks in to feel comfortable, like they’re having a Sunday night dinner party with friends, matched with the confidence that their dining experience has been intentionally crafted with quality in mind,” said Charity. “The restaurant is purposefully designed for guests to be a little nosy if something on the table next to them looks good, so they can ask what they ordered. We plan to train our staff to encourage these types of conversations and playfulness amongst tables in their respective sections.”

“LoSo has seen incredible momentum on the residential front, but there’s still room for the food and beverage community to rise to meet the neighborhood’s potential. We want to bring something to the table that we ourselves wish we had close by to Rally,” said Worthington, “A spot where you will want to go every week that is tasteful but familiar, not overpowered by themes or spectacle but a place where connections happen naturally over good food, unique wines, and the understanding that spending time around the table with new and old friends is what it’s all about.”

“Growing Charlotte’s food and beverage industry is something that I am super passionate about, as well as collaborating with like-minded entrepreneurs like Meg and Barrett,” said Kaifer, “We look forward to bringing flavorful and seasonal locally-sourced options to LoSo this summer with the opening menu.”

Kaifer’s menu is thoughtful but unpretentious and will include a variety of small plates and shareables. Guests can expect dishes like a crispy gnocchi topped with shallot and garlic cream and Urban Gourmet Farms mushrooms, as well as roasted carrots on a bed of whipped ricotta, caramelized honey, dukkah, and espelette. All pastas on the menu will be made fresh in-house every day.

Reservations will open in a few short weeks, ahead of the grand opening later this summer. Visit henriettasclt.com or follow @henriettasclt for the latest updates, menu details, and reservation announcements.
