Jackson-Shaw has announced the promotion of three team members – one in North Carolina and two in Texas.
“We’re not just a team because we work together; we’re a team because we communicate effectively, stay results-driven, and consistently support one another,” said Jackson-Shaw President and Chief Executive Officer Michele Wheeler. “Each individual brings exceptional talents and skills that drive our success, and they truly deserve these well-earned promotions.”
Ryan Beadle, previously a Development Director, has been promoted to Vice President of Development. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Beadle leads efforts to identify and execute development opportunities across the Carolinas and the Southeast region. Most recently, he spearheaded Landis Ridge, a modern, Class A industrial park located on 149.6 acres in Landis, North Carolina. Since joining Jackson-Shaw in 2022, Beadle has brought a wealth of expertise to the team, honed during his tenure as General Counsel for JR Motorsports and DEJ Management. He managed corporate affairs there and specialized in drafting and negotiating sponsorship, driver, personal services, endorsement, and license agreements. Beadle, a Texas Tech University graduate, also holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is actively engaged in the real estate community as a member of NAIOP Charlotte.
Grant Pearson, formerly Vice President of Industrial Development, has been promoted to Chief Development Officer, overseeing Jackson-Shaw’s nationwide industrial development initiatives. Since establishing the company’s Houston office in 2018, Pearson has completed the development of more than 39 industrial buildings across 15 business parks. With over 8.9 million square feet of development added to his portfolio since joining Jackson-Shaw in 2015, Pearson has leveraged his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Southern Methodist University and exceptional problem-solving skills to deliver projects with outstanding results. Beyond his professional achievements, Pearson is deeply involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving on both the Swine Auction Committee and the Corporate Development Committee. His passion for real estate is reflected in his active memberships with the Houston chapter of NAIOP.
Reid Watler, formerly a Development Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Development. Based in Houston, Watler leads site selection, land acquisition, financing, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and sales for industrial projects across Central and South Texas. Before joining Jackson-Shaw in 2022, Watler was an Associate on Greystar’s multifamily team in Houston, where he played a role in developing over 2,900 apartment units with a total capitalization exceeding $500 million. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Analyst at JLL in Houston, gaining diverse experience across multiple asset classes and product types throughout the region. This extensive expertise equips him to adeptly manage and execute complex development projects with accuracy and confidence. Watler holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
