Thomas & Hutton, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stafford Palmieri Sievert to its Board of Directors. Stafford, an investor, technologist, and strategist, brings a wealth of experience and a forward-thinking approach to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

In her role as a board member, Stafford will play a critical role in guiding the strategic direction of Thomas & Hutton. With her extensive background in innovation, technology, and business development, she will bring a unique expertise to help drive the firm’s growth and enhance its impact on the built environment. Stafford states, “I am honored to have been elected to the board of such a successful and high-quality firm as Thomas & Hutton. Its mix of engineering service offerings, technology products and an alternative delivery practice presents a unique opportunity for me to add value to what is already a great company.”
Stafford currently serves as a General Partner at Foundations, a venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley that focuses on backing technology to automate and scale the AEC industry. She also serves as the CEO of Fidens Strategy, a strategy and growth consultancy for AEC and other types of service businesses, and is a Principal Advisor with Morrissey Goodale, a management consulting and M&A advisory firm focused on the AEC industry. Through these roles, Stafford works with clients and portfolio companies to embed their core mission into their operations, typically at the board and C-suite level.
Previously, Stafford founded Palmieri Partners, a product and go-to-market consultancy, which she successfully sold to Fabius Labs in 2021. Post-merger, she served as the CEO of Fabius Labs, leading the integration of product strategy with design and software engineering to bring mobile and web applications to market. Before her entrepreneurial ventures, she built the business development operations function at AECOM, the largest publicly traded AEC firm in the world, facilitating significant year-over-year contract growth.
Stafford’s career also includes substantial public sector experience. She served in the administration of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal in various roles, including Policy Director, Assistant Chief of Staff, and Deputy Chief of Staff. She was appointed to the Governor’s cabinet as Commissioner of Administration, managing a $25B budget and overseeing critical state functions. Her achievements earned her a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2016.
Stafford began her career in Washington, DC, as a research associate and policy analyst at the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. She holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School. She lives in Peterson, Utah.
