Eastwood Homes announces new smart home program Connected with Care. Connecting with longtime business partner CPI Security and their InTouch Smart Home System, Eastwood Homes is bringing the best secure network and innovative technology to their homebuyers- making it easy to stay connected.
This is a first for the privately-held homebuilder, who is taking a huge leap forward in technology development. Eastwood Homes is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, similar to CPI Security, and is adapting to the needs of homebuyers in the market for a smart home. With the increase of competitors offering smart home technology, Eastwood Homes is proud to offer a package that is tailored to the needs of their customers. True to their built with care philosophy, Eastwood Homes selected advanced products that focus on usability.
“We researched all the options available for smart home technology and ultimately it came down to our values and who could match us with customer care. CPI Security has been a long-time business partner of ours and their values are very similar to Eastwood Homes. With the help of CPI Security, our connected with care package gives our homeowners the technology they want and need to feel secure in and away from their home,” Mike Conley, Charlotte Division President, said.
Driven by one app, the connected with care package includes an Eero hub and beacon, an InTouch doorbell camera, a Sonos1 with voice integration, a Schlage door lock, and Z-wave thermostats and light switches. Eastwood Homes understands that in the digital age, having a strong Wi-Fi network is imperative to everyone. Homebuyers will never have to worry about Wi-Fi again with the state-of-the-art Eero hub and beacon. Eero is a mesh network that ensures all devices are getting the Wi-Fi signal they need to function at peak performance- keeping everything connected.
“At CPI Security, our mission has always been to provide innovative solutions that make our customers feel safer in their homes and communities. This aligns well with Eastwood Homes that wants to create an incredible customer experience and has now launched its connected with care program; that’s going to bring the newest and brightest smart home technology products to their homes.” Brent Uhl, Chief Operating Officer of CPI Security, said.
Founded in 1977 by Joseph K. Stewart, Eastwood Homes has a long history and highly favorable reputation among homebuilders. The privately held company is consistently named among the Top 50 Homebuilders Nationwide, Top 25 Privately-Held Businesses in North Carolina, and named Builder of the Year by the local Homebuilder’s Association. Corporate headquarters are located in Charlotte, NC along with sizable divisions and operations in the Raleigh and Triad areas of North Carolina, and Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, South Carolina.
