City seeks input on next manager

The wants public input on the search for a new city manager, according to a release from the city this week.

An online survey is now open and will be up until June 3.

The council has retained Ralph Andersen & Associates to assist with the recruitment and selection of the next manager, the release said. One of the firm’s responsibilities is the development of a candidate profile that identifies the highest priority issues, important experience, expertise and leadership characteristics for the new manager.

Survey comments are anonymous and confidential, although the aggregate input will be considered public information. The comments will be provided directly to Ralph Andersen & Associates through the online survey link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Charlotte-citymanager-survey

The city will be accepting applications for the manager position from June 17-July 8, according to the release.
