Congdon to manage The Encore

Listen to this articleAlex Congdon is the new community manager for The Encore SouthPark high-rise apartments, according to a press release.
Congdon will oversee daily operations, marketing, leasing, resident programming, plus staff recruitment and retention for the 280 luxury residences.
The community is a joint venture between Woodfield Investments and Simpson Housing and is managed by Simpson Property Group, according to the release.
The Encore SouthPark is Simpson Housing’s fourth apartment community in Charlotte. It’s other local properties are Silos South End, Gramercy Square at Ayrsley and Promenade Park.
Congdon has been with Simpson Property Group for nine years, during which he has served as a leasing consultant, assistant manager and property manager at Promenade Park. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in public administration, Congdon is also a certified apartment manager and holds a North Carolina real estate broker’s license.
