Lash Group moving headquarters to South Carolina

FORT MILL, S.C. (AP) — The Lash Group is announcing plans to move its seven miles south to , eventually employing 2,400 people.

The patient support company expects to spend more than $57 million on its new campus in Fort Mill, which President Tracy Foster describes as its “dream home.”

It’s the second of three announcements Monday in South Carolina. The 7,100 total jobs are thought to be the largest number announced in one day.

About half the Lash Group jobs are expected to be new. Many workers will commute from Charlotte.

Earlier Monday, Singapore-based Giti Tire announced plans to open a plant in Chester County, creating 1,700 jobs over a decade.

Independent broker LPL Financial is expected later Monday to announce building a new regional headquarters in Fort Mill.
