CHARLOTTE – Pappas Properties and Allen Tate have revealed the newest tenant in the soon-to-be-complete Sharon Square.
Jon Dressler, who owns Dressler’s Restaurant, is bringing a conceptual restaurant to Sharon Square, according to a news release from Pappas and Allen Tate.
Construction on the 4,000-square-foot restaurant is set to start this summer and will be completed in the fall, the release says.
Sharon Square is a mixed-use development at the corner of Fairview and Sharon roads, comprising apartments, restaurants and offices. The Sharon Square apartments have just opened and the remainder of the project is scheduled to open later this year, according to the release. Sharon Square is home to Whole Foods, the Charlotte regional headquarters of SunTrust Bank and Corkbuzz wine bar.
The new restaurant will feature “elevated southern fare,” according to the release, and the menu will include a variety of roasted meats, fresh fish and locally sourced vegetables. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, and will have an outdoor seating area.
This venture is the third Dressler’s restaurant and the third time a Dressler’s restaurant has been developed in a Pappas Properties project, the release says.
“We will offer finely prepared southern comfort food in a casual environment with an open kitchen viewable to patrons,” Dressler said in the release. “Sharon Square is an ideal setting for our clientele given its easy access to the many affluent neighborhoods throughout south Charlotte.”
