STALLINGS – The Stallings Planning Board has approved a request from Epcon Communities for the conditional zoning of 34 acres of land on the north side of Lawyers Road for a 93-lot residential subdivision. The project, approved Jan. 21, will be east of Stevens Mill Road and will be restricted to people 55 and older.
The board has recommended against approval of Hopper Communities‘ request for conditional zoning on a 48.4-acre tract of land that would allow the development of a 118-lot single-family residential subdivision. The property is on the west side of Stevens Mill Road, south of Idlewild Road.
Both items are scheduled to be heard by the Town Council at a Feb. 24 meeting.
