Mineral Springs to get sewer lines

MINERAL SPRINGS – Dellinger Inc. has been tapped to build sewer lines to Mineral Springs. The at its Jan. 21 meeting accepted the company’s bid to build the public sewer infrastructure to the N.C. Highway 75 portion of Mineral Springs.

Construction on the line will begin later this year and will consist of about 7,100 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer pipe, a pumping station, and 3,200 linear feet of 4-inch force main pipe. The board approved the engineering for providing sewer service to Mineral Springs in May 2013.

Dellinger was the lowest bidder at of $1,011,050. The high bid was $1,639,192.
