FORT MILL — The Charlotte Knights are set to play their final six home games at their South Carolina stadium before moving into their downtown park in 2014.
The Knights open the final homestand in Knights Stadium in Fort Mill on Wednesday with three games against the Norfolk Tides.
After the Tides, Charlotte will host the Gwinnett Braves for the final three games in the 24-year-old stadium. The last game is scheduled for Labor Day and starts at 1 p.m.
Next April, the Knights will be playing in BB&T Ballpark in downtown Charlotte.
