Nearly 300 housing markets listed as improving in September
A total of 291 metropolitan areas across the country – including Charlotte – now qualify as improving housing markets, according to the National Association of Home Builders/First American Improving Markets Index (IMI) for September, released Tuesday.
Housing market continues to improve for sellers
Preliminary August data from the Carolinas Multiple Listing Services Inc. continue to indicate a strengthening housing market, with the number of sales, home prices and new listings rising while the inventory and average number of days on the market declined.
