M/I Homes to build at MillBridge development

M/I Homes of Charlotte will join other homebuilders in the 900-acre MillBridge development in Waxhaw. The company plans to add 80 cottage-style homes targeted at empty nesters.
M/I Homes says its Cottage Collection will include ranch and 1.5-story homes that vary in size from 2,670 to 3,633 square feet. Prices will range from the upper $200,000s to the mid $300,000s.
“Whether active adults are seeking a community where they can be close to their family, or families are in search of yet one more option in Waxhaw, this new collection from M/I Homes is perfect,” said M/I Homes Vice President of Operations Alan Beulah in a press release.
MillBridge amenities include three swimming pools, a movie theater, a fitness center and a covered basketball court.
Other builders at the site include Bonterra Homes, Essex Homes and Pulte Homes.
M/I Homes expects a model grand opening to be held in spring.
