COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Lynches River Contracting has been awarded nine contracts in South Carolina totaling $15.6 million and two contracts in North Carolina totaling $11.5 million since this spring. A breakdown:

In South Carolina:

—$3 million for resurfacing in Chester, Fairfield and York counties

—$2.1 million, resurfacing in York County

—$2.7 million, resurfacing in Kershaw, Lee and Sumter counties

—$1.7 million, patching in Calhoun, Clarendon and Orangeburg counties

—$1.6 million, resurfacing in Chesterfield and Lancaster counties

—$1.4 million, resurfacing in Dillon and Marion counties

—$1.1 million, intersection improvement in York County

—$1.1 million, resurfacing in Kershaw County

—$948,818, patching in Richland County

In North Carolina:

— $8.8 million, road widening in Union County

—$2.7 million, resurfacing in Union County
