MPV Properties has announced the progression of construction on Reafield, a new retail and office center located near the signalized intersection of Rea Road and Tom Short Road in Union County. Reafield will consist of four newly constructed buildings totaling 34,100 SF. Signed tenants at the center include Novant Health, RockBox Fitness,

Ultra Nail Bar, Reafield Dental, and Andy’s Frozen Custard. Construction of the buildings is expected to be complete by yearend, with tenants opening in early 2019.

Reafield will serve residents of South Charlotte, Marvin, and Waxhaw. Robbie (Branstrom) Adams of MPV Properties is responsible for leasing. George Macon, also of MPV, is leading the development, Robert Johnson Architects is the architect, and Shelco is the general contractor.

Novant Health is a not-for-profit integrated system of 15 medical centers and 1,500 physicians in 530 locations, as well as numerous outpatient surgery centers, medical plazas, rehabilitation programs, diagnostic imaging centers and community health outreach programs. Novant Health’s nearly 26,000 team members and physician partners care for patients and communities in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia.

RockBox is a state-of-the-art group fitness studio designed to challenge you personally. With the support of our professional trainers and the encouragement of your fellow RockBoxers, we box, kickbox, and use functional strength training to create an intense full-body, i-feel-like-champ, go-ahead-look-at-my-abs workout. And don’t worry, we hit bags, not people. We aim to bust calories, not noses. This will be the fourth area location for RockBox, with their existing locations in Charlotte, Cornelius, and Huntersville.

Ultra Nail Bar prides themselves on their attention and care to health and safety. Equipped with the latest and greatest in technology and sanitation, their mission is to change the nail spa industry for the better. This will be the third area location for Ultra Nail Bar, in addition to their Ballantyne and Midtown locations.

Reafield Dental, owned by husband and wife team Dr. Olya Banchik and Dr. Leon Banchik, cares for all patients like family. On the practice, Dr. Olya Banchik states, “our first priority is to ensure our patients’ complete comfort and satisfaction, at all times. We provide gentle, state of the art dental care and treat each patient like family.” This will be the first location in the area for the Banchik’s as they relocate from their highly successful practice in Las Vegas, NV. Andy’s Frozen Custard has always been fanatical about custard and has served it with pride since 1986.

For more than three decades, only the freshest ingredients have been used for a frozen custard experience you can’t get anywhere else. From its flagship location in Osage Beach, MO, the chain has expanded with locations throughout Missouri, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Illinois, and keeps on growing! Its Reafield location will feature drive-thru service.

MPV Properties is one of the Charlotte area’s leading commercial real estate firms offering office, industrial, retail and land brokerage, development, and property management services.
