Bryan Butler of Coldwell Banker Commercial MECA recently facilitated Pop the Top Craft Beer Shop leasing a South End location at 1750 Camden Road, Suite A in Camden Gallery.
Butler teamed with Michael Gais, Gais Construction, and Kent Jones, Redding Jones Law, to lease the 1,250-square-foot facility for Pop the Top owners Ketan and Kathy Patel.
“We love Charlotte and are so proud to bring our vision to South End,” Ketan Patel said in a press release. “Charlotte has great people and our shop will represent the appreciation we have for local products. Bryan Butler played an integral role in guiding us through the process of selecting and securing a location that is the perfect fit for us.”
The Patels have lived in North Carolina for more than 30 years. Ketan is from Charlotte where his father owned a small business for more than 25 years and Kathy is from Raleigh. They met as students at N.C. State and moved to Charlotte after graduation.
“It was such a pleasure to work with Ketan and Kathy to choose and negotiate a lease on the best location to launch Pop the Top Craft Beer Shop,” Butler said. “We found a wonderful location in Camden Gallery that is walkable near dense multi-family developments to reach the Millennial demographic and not far from existing breweries.”
Pop the Top, which will open later this spring, will feature craft and regular local beers, regional non-alcoholic beverages (including one tap dedicated to kombucha and one for cider), and will partner with local food truck, New Wrap Order, to stock premade wraps, locally made pimento cheese, dips, chips and hummus.
