Ballantyne Corporate Park saw 219,378 square feet worth of new leases and renewals during the second quarter, according to a press release from owner The Bissell Cos.
*Time Warner Cable – which recently merged with Charter Communications – renewed its lease and nearly doubled its space, totaling 51,361 square feet at the Simmons Building. JLL’s Matt Bowen represented Time Warner Cable.
*Vizant Technologies, represented by Tripp Commercial’s Peter Stipicevic, leased 14,862 square feet at the Everett Building.
*Scottish Holdings, represented by Cherry & Associates’ Ben Speir, renewed 13,672 square feet at Cullman Park.
*Curtiss-Wright Corporation, represented by Mohr Partners’ Jack Glasgow, renewed 12,596 square feet at Brixham Green One.
*eLEND, a division of American Financial Resources Inc., represented by Mark Mahoney at Red Rocks Development, leased 10,908 square feet at the Hixon Building.
*Southeast Psych, represented by JLL’s Matt Bowen, leased 7,943 square feet at Ballantyne One, according to the release.
Bissell also completed a number of other transactions totaling 108,036 square feet at buildings. Kimberly Kendall, SIOR, and Rett Turner handled negotiations on behalf of Bissell, the owner and landlord, according to the release.
Bissell’s next project is the Brigham Building, a 10-story, 287,507-square-foot office building set for completion in November 2016.
