Beacon Partners has leased a recently completed speculative office and industrial building in Fort Mill to a freight-forwarding company.
Beacon said Catawba Enterprises leased the 50,400 square-foot building because of its 24-foot height clearance and drive-in loading access.
The building sits on 8 acres off Interstate 77 at 2100 Carolina Place.
Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.
“We’re very fortunate to have been able to put the last remaining undeveloped site off Carolina Place Boulevard into production and to have leased the building so quickly,” said Sean McDonnell, director of build-to-suit development at Beacon Partners, in a written statement.
The project’s contractor was Choate Construction.
Beacon Partners is a Charlotte-based commercial real estate firm specializing in the development, leasing and management of office and industrial properties. The company leases and manages more than 9 million square feet of office and industrial space throughout the Carolinas.
