Sabrina Torrence and her two sons have a new home, thanks to Our Towns Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s.
The family will move into the home on June 7 after volunteers contributed many hours of work, including 400 “sweat equity” hours from Torrence herself. She also attended homeownership classes before being given the keys to the new home at 132 Burke Circle, Mooresville.
Lowe’s donated $50,000 towards the construction, according to a press release from the store. Lowe’s employees also helped with landscaping projects in the front and back yards of the property.
