The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on Monday unanimously approved a developer’s preliminary plat and sketch plan for a 15-lot subdivision on 19 acres along the east side of Beth Haven Church Road.
The vacant property, slightly north of Willow Farm Drive, is zoned for residential transitional and sits within Catawba Springs Township. The single-family subdivision will be served by individual wells and septic systems.
The developer, Christian Rogne, said minimum lot sizes would be 1.0 acre. The Lincoln County Planning Board voted unanimously this month to recommend approval of the plat and sketch plan, saying the proposed subdivision meets all the required conditions of the county’s unified development ordinance and will be compatible with the rural atmosphere of the surrounding areas.
