Work has begun on two new retail buildings at Berewick Town Center in southwest Charlotte, according to a press release from Concord Construction.
The Charlotte-based builder is working with developer Pappas Properties on Berewick Retail A&B – two buildings that will have a total of 30,000 square feet of retail space. The buildings will be next to the Harris Teeter grocery store already under construction at the master-planned, 1,070-acre neighborhood, according to the release.
“We are very excited to begin this important next step in Berewick Town Center’s growth with Concorde Construction Co.,” says Craig Miller of Pappas Properties in the release. The retail buildings are scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2016, he said in the release.
“The growth of Berewick Town Center and the surrounding area has been exciting to watch and now participate in,” said David Privitera, president and COO of Concorde Construction.
