The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association will hold its annual Candidate Fish Fry on Thursday. The event, now in its 19th year, provides an opportunity for association members to network and meet candidates in local political campaigns.
Many competing for a role in Charlotte government, including mayoral, city council and school-board spots, have been invited. Last year, more than 500 CRRA members attended the event.
This year, Realtors will hold a school-supply drive to benefit Thompson, a community organization that provides programs and services to support children and families struggling with neglect, abuse and other hardships.
The Candidate Fish Fry will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the parking lot of the CRRA’s offices at 1201 Greenwood Cliff Road. For information, call Kim Walker at 704-617-0504.
