With toll lanes coming to Interstate 77 and U.S. Highway 74, Charlotte residents have questions about how traffic patterns in the Queen City will be changing. The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce will host a panel discussion about this and other transportation topics on Friday.
The event, “Toll Lanes on Charlotte Highways: What Does That Mean For Me?” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pine Island Country Club, 1701 Stoneybridge Drive. Charlotte Chamber Senior Vice President of Public Policy Natalie English will moderate. Panelists include Tim Gibbs, Charlotte Department of Transportation; Ned Curran, chair of the North Carolina Board of Transportation and president and CEO of Bissell; and David Ungemah of Parsons Brinckerhoff engineering and design firm. Registration is required. For more information visit the chamber’s website.
