The Southern Ideal Home Show will return to Charlotte in September, bringing design, remodeling and decorating ideas to home-improvement enthusiasts.
The three-day event features some 200 companies from the homebuilding and home-improvement industries showcasing their wares, including cabinets, tile, lighting, window treatments, flooring and building materials. Those interested in lawn and garden will find landscape pros with information on irrigation, outdoor lighting and furniture, spas, pools and more.
“We’ve done all the work for show guests,” said show manager Mardee Woodward. “Whether you’re just starting to brainstorm – or have your contractor on speed dial – this show has something for you. Doing this much legwork on your own would be time-consuming and exhausting. Year after year, we make it easy – and fun – for guests.”
Woodard said the event caters to both those undertaking projects on their own and homeowners who would rather contract out building, remodeling, decorating and landscaping services
It also will feature demonstrations by Charlotte’s top chefs, as well as an appearance by Pete Nelson, star of “Treehouse Masters” on the Animal Planet cable channel.
The 31st annual show runs from Sept. 11-13 at The Park Expo and Conference Center at 2500 E. Independence Blvd. Admission is $10 at the door, with those 15 and under granted free admission when accompanied by an adult. General parking is $7.
