Ginkgo Residential buys apartment complex

Charlotte-based property manager and owner Ginkgo Residential has acquired a 15-acre apartment community in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The company will rename the development, dubbed  Enclave at Fairview Townhome Apartments, to 630 Fairview Apartments.

The complex has 120 two- and three-bedroom townhome-style apartments, and features a swimming pool, fitness center, playground area, car care center and dog park. It is 16 miles southeast of downtown Greenville.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.

“The addition of 630 Fairview to our portfolio will help us meet our commitment to providing high quality apartment homes to residents in the workforce housing market,” says Gingko Residential Chief Executive Philip Payne.

Ginkgo Residential operates in the Carolinas and Virginia.
