The former John Deere building near Carowinds has been sold for $4.1 million.

CHARLOTTE –  The former John Deere building on Carowinds Boulevard has been purchased for $4.1 million by SilverCap Partners LLC, according to a release by commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer. SilverCap is a Charlotte-based real estate private equity firm that focuses on the Southeast.

The 116,500-square-foot industrial flex-space building is on 19.2 acres. The property, owned by Wisconsin-based Deere & Co., has an assessed value of $7 million, according to Mecklenburg County records.

Lane A. Holbert, Eric C. Ridlehoover and Fermin Deoca of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled negotiations for the seller.
