Brokerage and investment advisory services company LPL Financial, a subsidiary of LPL Financial Holdings Inc., will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Carolinas regional office in Fort Mill, S.C. at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 26.
“The new campus is intended to bring together LPL’s Charlotte area employees in a single location and provide the space needed to accommodate company growth,” according to a release.
The company will move 1,000 employees who are spread across three Charlotte offices to the new campus, and plans to bring in another 2,000 jobs over the next several years.
The campus will be at the northeast corner of U.S. Highway 21 and S.C. Highway 160, and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will be joined by LPL executives, York County Council Chairman Britt Blackwell and Fort Mill Mayor Danny Funderburk at the ceremony.
LPL Financial also has regional offices in San Diego and Boston.
