Morgan speaks at AIA luncheon

BobMorgan.webCharlotte Chamber of Commerce President Bob Morgan spoke at the American Institute of Architects membership luncheon on Tuesday. In his presentation, “Keeping it Local: Current State of Charlotte Economy,” Morgan said that local efforts, transportation infrastructure, educational institutions and business climate could contribute to Charlotte’s ability to draw in new businesses and more jobs in the next 20 years.

Moving forward, Morgan said public-private partnerships would be the best way to ensure that infrastructure keeps up with projected development growth. He also cited Levine Properties’ partnerships with both the city and the county for its First Ward revitalization project as an example of what those relationships can accomplish.
