Association elects 2015 board, honors former member

The Commercial Real Estate and Development Association’s Charlotte chapter elected its 2015 Board of Directors and announced the winner of its Award of Excellence at its annual meeting Dec. 15.

The Award of Excellence was given to the late David Allen, who was a partner at Trinity Capital Advisors and who had previously been on the organization’s board of directors and a member of its advisory council.

Allen began his real estate career with CB Commercial in 1985, and went on to form Trinity Partners, and real estate investment company Trinity Capital Advisors with Peter Conway and Gary Chesson. He passed away earlier this year.

The Charlotte chapter’s board of directors for 2015 are President Clifton Coble with Bissell Development; President-Elect Jim Gamble with Bohler Engineering; Secretary Brendan Pierce with The Keith Corp.; Treasurer Sherrie Chaffin with Trinity Capital Advisors; Immediate Past President Chris Thomas with Childress Klein Properties; and Past President Charles Jonas with CNL Commercial Real Estate.
