CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-based new homebuilder Eastwood Homes recently presented more than $47,000 to Levine Children’s Hospital, donations it raised during an October charity golf outing at Raintree Country Club.
“Thanks to our sponsors, we have been able to raise more than $100,000 for the Levine Children’s Hospital between last year’s event and our outing this year,” said Bryan DeGabrielle, Eastwood’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We feel very fortunate that our supporters were able to join us for the tournament.”
Eastwood Homes formed a philanthropic partnership with Carolinas HealthCare System and Levine Children’s Hospital in January 2008. The builder donates a portion of the proceeds on each sale to the efforts of the Hospital. Additionally, the company contributes gifts and goodies to patients and their families through the use of the Eastwood Homes’ Hospitality Cart.
