RALEIGH – An Affordable Housing Conference will be held Oct. 15-16 at the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh.
The keynote speaker will be Renee Lewis Glover, former CEO of the Atlanta Housing Authority and current chair of Habitat for Humanity International.
About 1,000 people are expected to attend the event, which is sponsored by Community Investment Corp. of the Carolinas, the N.C. Housing Coalition, and the N.C. Housing Finance Agency.
“In North Carolina, we have an incredible demand for affordable housing options,” said David Bennett, executive vice president of CICCAR, in a release. “However, we are also seeing a changing policy landscape at the state and federal level that could impact the availability of housing options for years to come. This conference allows a dedicated group of industry professionals to gather and share ideas that will ensure we are ready to face the challenges ahead.”
Registration information is available at www.NCHousingConference.com, or by contacting the N.C. Housing Coalition at (919) 881-0707.
