CoreLogic shutters its Charlotte office

CoreLogic, the data and analytics firm responsible for comprehensive reports on many topics including real estate, is closing its Charlotte office and relocating its operation to existing offices in Chapin, S.C., and Westlake, Texas.

Forty-six workers at the Charlotte office will be affected, according to Alyson Austin, spokesperson at CoreLogic. It’s a move to consolidate the document solutions operation, which is responsible for providing lenders with property records. The transition of this business is expected to be completed by October.

The office in Charlotte is at 701 Forest Point Circle off West Arrowood Road.

Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., CoreLogic employs 5,000 people with offices in North America, Western Europe and Asia. The company bases its data on over 3.3 billion public and proprietary records providing detailed coverage of property , mortgages, consumer credit, tenancy, location and hazard risk.
