CHARLOTTE – If you’ve got permits to pull or inspections to schedule or plans to submit for review, you better hoof it, shake a leg, get the lead out and, whatever you do, don’t put it off until March 4.

Almost the entire staff of Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement is scheduled for offsite training that day, according to the agency’s website.

That means the customer service desk at the Hal Marshal Center, 700 N. Tryon St., will be “minimally staffed” from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., and not at all after that, the website says.

“Please take this under consideration when planning any business visits,” the website says. For updates and more information, go to charmeck.org/mecklenburg/county/CodeEnforcement
