CHARLOTTE – Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer, a New York-based commercial brokerage firm, has hired Brian Craver to join the company’s Charlotte office and beef up its retail team, according to a Cushman news release.

Craver has 12 years of commercial real estate experience and, along with other members of the retail team, will be responsible for listing, representing and developing retail throughout the Carolinas, the release says.

“”We are thrilled to have such an accomplished real estate veteran to develop and expand our retail practice in Charlotte,” Bill Simerville, a senior vice president with Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer, said in the release. “(Craver) is a skilled advisor and will be a tremendous resource to our clients in this region.”

Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, he was a partner at Charlotte-based Gallant Properties, based on his LinkedIn account. Gallant specializes in land brokerage, tenant and buyer representation, site selection, outparcel sales, and investment sales, according to the company’s website.

“Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer’s goal, since entering the Charlotte market, has been to develop robust, industry-leading service lines for our clients,” Warren M. Snowdon, senior vice president and managing broker, said in the release. “(Craver’s) proven track-record handling strategic execution for his retail clients marries perfectly with our purpose to drive client value by delivering the right real estate solution. We are excited to have him join our team.”
