County appoints airport commissioners, rethinks Brooklyn Village development (access required)

Despite not yet having any real authority in the city, the Charlotte Douglas International Airport advisory commission last night gained its last four members. Interim Mayor Patsy Kinsey appointed three members and the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners appointed the final member, finalizing the 13-member oversight board.
