Multifamily summit to be held at the Omni

CHARLOTTE – Bisnow on Sept. 24 is hosting its third annual Charlotte Multifamily Summit, a panel discussion on the state of the area multifamily market, at the Omni Charlotte Hotel, at 132 E. Trade St. in uptown.

Four panelists have been announced for the event and will “discuss current trends, the impact of the economy and job growth on the market, capital markets and investment activity, and the effect of new requirements in sustainability and innovation on development,” according to Bisnow.

The panelists who have been announced are John Porter, partner with Charter Properties; Phil Payne, CEO of Gingko Residential; Tom Baker, division executive of Terwilliger Pappas; and Charlie Henley, regional vice president of WRH Realty Services. Marshall Phillips, principal of the Charlotte office of CohnReznick, will moderate the event. More panelists are expected to be announced.

Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., with the panelists set to speak from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
