CHARLOTTE – Mecklenburg County has issued three more permits, valued at about $10.6 million, to Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based ContraVest for work on the $32 million, 321-unit The Addison at South Tryon apartment complex.
The permits, one of which was issued Monday and the others on Wednesday, are for work on three apartment buildings at the complex on South Tryon Street in southwest Charlotte. The permit issued on Monday, valued at $3.1 million, is for work on a 29,908-square-foot building shell, according to county records. The other two permits, valued at $3.7 million each, are for work on two 36,248-square-foot shells, records show.
Construction started on The Addison in January, and the first units will be available to tenants in October. The apartments will be finished in June 2014.
