CHARLOTTE — A $1.7 million, 15-unit apartment complex planned for 4442 Central Ave. has been issued a Mecklenburg County building permit, according to the county’s online permit database.

The permit was issued Tuesday.

Centro City Works is the developer for the three-story, 25,000-square-foot Centre Terrace Apartments, to be built between Sharon Amity Road and Kilborne Drive. Carocon Corp. is the general contractor.

Centro and Carocon could not be reached for comment.

According to Centro’s website, it has four other apartment projects planned for Charlotte — Quarterside, Quad, Trademark and The Ledge — and two planned for Winston-Salem.
